New Orleans
One of the worst aspects about hurricanes is that they compromise the food system in the areas they are impacted by the storm. Hurricane Ida caused widespread food and water outrages in New Orleans. In response to the massive storm, Dema Dimbaya raised funds for water and bread and worked with some of New Orleans’ finest gentlemen to hand out hot food in addition to the bread and water to members of the community.

100 cases of water
40 loaves of bread
8 bags of rice
3 boxes of cream pies
3 boxes of nutty buttys
3 boxes of wheat thins
3 boxes cracker packs
